Every home should be a castle,” said Alan Looney,owner of the Nashville-based homebuilder. “That’s the image of who we are and what kind of home we like to build.”

A bold statement perhaps, but it’s an appropriate one given the heirloom quality craftsmanship and proven customer satisfaction offered by Castle Contractors. For 16 years, Looney’s company has built extraordinary homes throughout Middle Tennessee that are as distinctive as its owners.

“We design homes that are of quality space, not necessarily of quantity,” he said. “We build homes that are timeless when it comes to architectural style. When others drive by and look at one of our homes, we want them to say, ‘Their homes are built very well."

Castle Contractors builds on both property within subdivisions and individual lots. Most homes range from 3,000 square feet to 6,000 square feet. Looney begins all projects by sitting down with the client to review home needs, the budget and design ideas for each step of the construction process.

“We want to give them the most home for the money,” he said, adding the design goal is to find something that will work long-term as well as short-term.
